Perfectly protected from main lake traffic by a big, beautiful cove (Poe Creek) which is widely regarded as the top water 💧 on Lake Gaston. Large enough to ski on and less than a one-minute boat ride from main lake action.

When looking at a map of Lake Gaston, the MacDaddy is located on the SE Quad of the lake just south of mile marker 4 near the Goat Island.

Bonus: Located just 10 miles from I-95 off the Roanoke Rapids exit make its location very easy access from both North & South vacationers.

It all started with a guest from Indiana "Billy" who drove through the night with wife, kids and boat in tow on his way to the MacDaddy.

They had a trailer tire "blow out" in route and needless to say their vacation did not start off as well as it could. So today, in an on-going effort to "think of and offer every amenity possible"...we're pleased to announce that our 17-person Avalon Tritoon (pontoon with xtra "toon") is now available free of charge at the MacDaddy boat dock upon your arrival. We call it the "Big Jake". We don't want the "Billy's" out there towing their boat across the country when they come to relax at the MacDaddy.😁

While most rental boats on the lake are pontoons with 60-90 horsepower, The "Big Jake" is a 200hp motor.

We always encourage guests to bring perfect fitting life-jackets for the "little ones", but 30+ life jackets provided.
